RBA cuts interest rates by 25 basis points to 4.10%
The Reserve Bank of Australia has announced a 25 basis point cut in interest rates to 4.10%, the first in four years.
The Reserve Bank Governor Michelle Bullock said after the bank’s board meeting on Tuesday that the Reserve Bank’s board is committed to doing what is necessary to ensure that inflation in Australia returns to target over the coming period.
