PIF Governor and Acting CEO of NEOM on an inspection tour of Trojena

Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund, inspected the Trojena project, the anticipated global destination for mountain tourism, which will host major sporting events, most notably the 2029 Asian Winter Games, in a step that redefines the concept of tourism in the Kingdom. Al-Rumayyan was accompanied on his tour by Ayman Al-Mudaifer, Acting CEO of NEOM, and Ryan Fayez, Vice President.

Trojena will be a distinctive world-class destination that blends natural and urban landscapes, and provides human-centered experiences for both its residents and visitors alike. Trojena will include six neighborhoods where reality blends with engineering innovations and virtual architecture, creating a destination that is the first of its kind.

The Trojena project is part of the NEOM Districts Plan. Located 50 km from the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba in the heart of our natural region, Trojena has elevations ranging from 1,500 to 2,600 meters above sea level, covering an area of ​​approximately 60 km. Trojena is ideally located for climbing and adventure sports, combining low winter temperatures with a mild climate all year round. With its fresh air and stunning scenery, it will be an amazing tourist destination and an ideal place to live and work.
