Riyadh Air CEO: We aim to connect to more than 100 cities by 2030

Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Air, spoke during a dialogue session within the Public Investment Fund and Private Sector Forum, about the (Jamila) aircraft, which is the first aircraft in the Riyadh Air fleet, adding that the company aims to connect to more than 100 cities by 2030. It also seeks to contribute to the economy.

Regarding the role of technology in travel, Douglas indicated that Riyadh Air uses technology and artificial intelligence to improve the passenger experience.

The third edition of the Public Investment Fund and Private Sector Forum focuses on 4 main tracks, including: Investors Tracks, which includes a variety of dialogue sessions and presentations that aim to highlight available investment and cooperation opportunities and drive private sector growth, and the Manufacturers and Services Track, which includes dialogue sessions and activities aimed at building partnerships between the Fund’s portfolio companies and private sector representatives, in addition to discussing topics related to manufacturing, summit baskets, and localization opportunities.

The Finance and Financial Markets track includes workshops that aim to provide valuable information on available financing tools, a guide to listing on Saudi financial markets, and an overview of the financial market. The Private Sector Empowerment track includes workshops and sessions that highlight the main programs, initiatives, and tools available to private sector companies. The forum will feature 120 speakers, 15 dialogue sessions, 10 sessions to discuss investment opportunities, and 100 expected memoranda of understanding. The forum will include 10 pavilions for participating government agencies, in addition to the pavilions of the Public Investment Fund’s portfolio companies, which total 100 pavilions.
