Malath Insurance Approves Amendment of Articles of Association to Align with New Companies Law

The Board of Directors of Malath Cooperative Insurance Company announced on Thursday the results of the Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting (Third Meeting), where the voting results included approval of amending the Company’s Articles of Association to comply with the new Companies Law and rearranging and numbering the articles of the law to comply with the proposed amendments.

The rest of the results were as follows:

– Approval of amending Article (12) of the Company’s Articles of Association related to the Trading of Shares;

– Approval of deleting Article (26) of the Company’s Articles of Association related to the Constituent Assembly;

– Approval of deleting Article (27) of the Company’s Articles of Association related to the Terms of Reference of the Constituent Assembly;

– Approval of amending the Company’s Internal governance regulations; and

– Approval of amending the Board of Directors nomination and Appointment Policy.
