Real Madrid has become the first football club to achieve more than €1 billion in revenue in a single season, as the Spanish team topped the Deloitte list of the world’s highest-earning clubs once again.

This came in the 2023-24 season, after winning three titles, including the Spanish League and the Champions League, in addition to increasing matchday revenues after the completion of renovation work at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, which ensured Real rose to the top of the list.

Real Madrid topped the Deloitte list of the world’s highest-earning clubs, recording revenues of €1.04 billion ($1.08 billion) last season, supported by its success in doubling matchday revenues to €248 million.
