Trump’s Cryptocurrency Soars 28,000% in 36 Hours

The cryptocurrency backed by US President-elect Donald Trump has surged more than 28,000% in 36 hours, with speculation that his wealth could increase by a factor of ten as a result.

The surge in the meme coin dubbed Trump has now outpaced the S&P 500’s gains since 1971 – more than the return of 54 years of investment.

Trump’s cryptocurrency is currently trading above $56, putting its total market cap at $11.5 billion. Between midnight ET on Sunday and 6 a.m. on Sunday, the cryptocurrency doubled in value and hit a high of $75.35 before retreating slightly as early investors took profits.

For its part, Arcam Intelligence said that Donald Trump’s wealth has increased by about 5 times overnight to $28 billion, and Donald Trump’s net worth has increased by $22 billion overnight, assuming that CIC Digital LLC and Fight Fight Fight LLC, which together own 80 percent of the Trump meme coin stock, are affiliated with him at the meme coin price of $28.
