Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Group Announces Licensing and Operation Start for Al Hamra Hospital

Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services Group announced on Sunday the issuance of the final Ministry of Health license for Al Hamra Hospital in Riyadh. The hospital is set to commence operations and start receiving patients on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

The Group confirmed the completion of all testing and commissioning activities to meet operational requirements, ensuring the readiness of medical, nursing, technical, and administrative staff. The hospital’s operations will be launched gradually, aligned with the growth in client demand and operational needs.

In a statement on “Tadawul,” the Group indicated that the financial impact of the hospital’s operations is expected to be reflected in its financial results starting from the first quarter of the fiscal year 2025.

This milestone follows the Group’s earlier announcement on December 19, 2022, regarding the Board of Directors’ approval for the establishment of the Al Hamra Hospital project in Riyadh. The Group had initially projected the hospital’s completion and operational launch by the second quarter of 2025.
