Argentine superstar Lionel Messi has launched a real estate investment fund in the Spanish market at a price of €57.4 per share, raising the fund’s market value to €223 million ($232.12 million).
Messi, the current Inter Miami player, is chairman of the board of directors of Edificio Rostaur Sothemi, according to documents published by the Portfolio Stock Exchange, a European alternative market regulated by Spain’s central bank.
The company’s assets include seven hotels in Spain and Andorra, as well as three office spaces and five apartments, as well as real estate properties in London and Paris.
Edificio Rostaur Sothemi was founded in 2013 and reported a loss of €1.7 million in 2023, according to the records. The company did not immediately comment on its stock market debut on Monday.
