The Saudi Central Bank revealed that assets rose to 1.861 trillion riyals by the end of last November by about 69.7 billion riyals, or 3.9%, from their levels in October 2024, which were 1.791 trillion riyals.
According to the Central Bank’s bulletin for November 2024, which was issued a short while ago, assets rose by 40 billion riyals, or 2.2%, from what they were in the same month of 2023, which was 1.821 trillion riyals.
According to the bulletin, assets increased during November 2024 compared to the same month in 2023 as a result of an 8.7% increase in deposits in banks abroad, reaching 377.8 billion riyals, compared to 347.5 billion in 2023, while investments in securities abroad increased to 1022.8 billion riyals, by 0.3% compared to 2023, which was 1019.4 billion riyals, while other assets decreased by about 3.4%, and foreign currency and gold increased by 5.2%. The assets of the Saudi Central Bank consist of foreign currency and gold, cash on hand, deposits in banks abroad, investments in securities abroad, in addition to other assets.
