Tihama: Former CEO Files Labour Lawsuit, Seeks SAR 12.3 Million

Tihama Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing Company announced on Thursday that the former CEO (Abdul Aziz Najib Al-Suwailem) has filed a labour lawsuit against the Company due to the termination of the contract without a legitimate reason. It is worth noting that on Nov. 05, 2024, Board of Directors Resolution No. 65 was issued, which included approval to dismiss CEO, Mr. Abdulaziz Najib Al-Suwailem from his position. As a result of this procedure, the plaintiff filed a labour lawsuit against the Company.

The Company stated in a statement today on “Tadawul” that according to the lawsuit, the amount of the claim of 12.35 million riyals is job dues, indicating that the expected financial impact cannot be determined at this stage and any developments regarding this case will be announced in due course.

It added that it has authorised the legal advisor to follow up on the lawsuit, noting that at this stage it is not possible to estimate the responsibility that it may bear as a result of the lawsuit until the start of the court sessions, and any developments regarding this case will be announced in due course.
