Sipchem Announces Scheduled Maintenance for SAMAPCO Facility

Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) announced the commencement of scheduled maintenance for its affiliate, Sahara & Ma’aden Petrochemical Company (SAMAPCO), to ensure adherence to routine and preventive maintenance protocols. The maintenance is aimed at enhancing plant reliability and supporting future operational objectives.

In a statement on Tadawul, Sipchem confirmed that the maintenance activities began on Thursday, December 5, 2024, and are expected to last for 35 days.

The financial impact of the maintenance will depend on its actual duration and prevailing sales prices, with the effects reflected in the company’s Q4 2024 and Q1 2025 financial results.

The company emphasized that measures have been implemented to minimize disruptions to customers and pledged to provide updates as necessary.
