In a move to enhance its global standing in the fields of sports and health, Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the 2034 World Cup confirmed the Kingdom’s readiness to provide an integrated health environment in accordance with the latest international standards to ensure the health and safety of participants and visitors.

The bid file included the health system’s preparations to host the 2034 World Cup, including the development of an advanced health infrastructure of hospitals and medical centers equipped with the latest medical technologies, in addition to deploying an advanced ambulance fleet in all locations to ensure rapid response.

Saudi Arabia’s bid file to host the 2034 World Cup praised the efficiency of the Kingdom’s well-established health system, pointing to the quality of health care in major sporting events, such as the Club World Cup and other events held in the Kingdom, adding that the Kingdom has extensive experience in providing services to large crowds over weeks, which proves the strength of its health system.
