Saudi Minister of Industry: 1,100 industrial licenses issued, 900 factories started production

Bandar Alkhorayef, Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, said that the industrial sector has 3 vital indicators, including licenses that are growing significantly, explaining that more than 1,100 licenses have been issued, and 900 factories have entered production.

He added during the 2025 Budget Forum, in a dialogue session (Sustainable Development in the Budget) that the second vital indicator is financing, which is an important driver for the industrial sector, indicating that the Industrial Fund has approved projects worth 12 billion riyals for the year 2024, explaining that the total value of the projects exceeds 60 billion riyals.

He added that the third vital indicator is infrastructure, stressing that there can be no industry without industrial lands developed by the government.

He stated that these vital indicators ensure the continued flow of investment in the sector.
