Edarat Announced Framework Agreement with ECZA for SAR 20 Million

Edarat for Communication and Information Technology Co. (EDARAT) announced on Tuesday that it has been awarded a three-year framework agreement with the Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority. The agreement, valued at SAR 20 million (including VAT), covers Disaster Recovery (DR) and Managed Services.

The company stated today on Tadawul that the agreement aims to enhance IT continuity and operational flexibility for the Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority (ECZA). Edarat will assess the production environment, develop cloud infrastructure, and establish recovery objectives (RTO and RPO) based on the criticality of applications and their impact on the Authority’s operations. The services include Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) and Managed Services on Edarat’s Sovereign Cloud, along with additional support offerings.
