For the first time .. Number of women investing in the Saudi stock market exceeds 1.66 million women .. Number of investment portfolios for individuals reaches 12.76 million portfolios

The Capital Market Authority revealed that the number of women investing in the Saudi stock market increased to about 1.663 million women by the end of the third quarter of 2024, for the first time in the Saudi market. The number of women who have investment portfolios in the market, which is considered the largest financial market in the Middle East, increased by 10.8 thousand women during the third quarter of 2024, compared to their number in the second quarter of the same year, which was 1.66 million, to record the highest number of women ever.

The number of women investing in the stock market increased by about 85 thousand compared to what they were in the same quarter of the previous year, when their number reached 1.58 million women.

In contrast, the number of males in the Saudi stock market rose to 4.831 million, an increase of 13 thousand compared to the second quarter of 2024, when their number was 4.818 million, and their number increased by about 355 thousand compared to the third quarter of 2023, which was 4.476 million. The total number of individuals investing in the stock market reached 6.493 million by the end of the third quarter of 2024, recording the highest level ever, while the investment portfolios of all investors in the stock market jumped to 12.756 million investment portfolios by the end of the third quarter of 2024, after they were 12.424 million portfolios in the second quarter of the same year.
