Saudi Arabia has granted premium residency to 1,238 international investors under the “Business Investor Residency” program, according to Investment Minister Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih.
The announcement was made during the 28th World Investment Conference, held in Riyadh from Nov. 25 to 27, 2024.
The event serves as a global platform for dialogue, bringing together top leaders and major investors from around the world.
Al-Falih highlighted that premium residency is a key initiative for attracting foreign investments, simplifying procedures for international investors, and enhancing their ability to capitalize on opportunities in Saudi Arabia. This initiative underscores the Kingdom’s ambitions to position itself as a global hub for investment.
“The premium residency program empowers the investment sector by drawing in investors across various economic domains,” Al-Falih said.
“It offers access to the Kingdom’s competitive advantages, aligning with Vision 2030 goals to strengthen the national economy by creating jobs, transferring knowledge to local talent, and fostering expertise exchange.”
The Premium Residency Center currently offers seven residency options: Exceptional Efficiency Residency, Talent Residency, Business Investor Residency, Entrepreneur Residency, Property Owner Residency, Limited-Term Premium Residency, and Unlimited-Term Premium Residency.
These programs provide a range of benefits, including the ability to reside in the Kingdom with family members, conduct business, own property, and host relatives. Additional privileges are extended in collaboration with government agencies, further enhancing the attractiveness of premium residency for international investors.
