Riyadh Economic Forum honored, in its eleventh session, the Research and Studies Center at Maaal International Media Company for preparing a study (Maximizing the Economic Return from Natural Resources to Achieve Sustainable Development) for the forum, which was held this year and concluded yesterday under the slogan (Extension of a Promising Economy).
Bandar Al-Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Chairman of the session in which the study was reviewed, presented a commemorative shield to colleague Mutlaq Al-Buqami, CEO of Maaal International Media Company and Editor-in-Chief of Maaal Newspaper, on this occasion, with the participation of Eng. Abdullah Al-Obeikan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Dr. Khalid Al-Rajhi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Forum.
The study was reviewed by Dr. Saeed Al-Sheikh, Head of the Scientific Team for the Study, while Khalid Al-Rashed, Chief Operating Officer at the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC), participated in its discussion, along with Abdulaziz Al-Harbi, former CEO of Maaden Company, who praised the content of the study and the results of its recommendations, emphasizing the great role played by the researchers in completing it.
After the completion of the study presentation, the study team members were honored: Saeed Al Sheikh, head of the study scientific team, as well as the team supervising the study, namely: Musab Al Muhaidib, member of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Raja Al Marzouqi, Dr. Fahd Al Turki, Engineer Sami Al Safran, Dr. Sattam Al Muajjal, and Dr. Raed Al Mustaneer.
The study presented by the Studies and Research Center at Maaal International Media Company aims to evaluate plans to maximize economic returns from the exploitation of natural resources. The list of study objectives included measuring the economic returns resulting from the exploitation of natural resources and implementing the programs of the sustainable development plan.
It is noteworthy that the Maaal Center for Research and Studies is a center specialized in preparing surveys, research, market research, providing consultations, and developing strategies.
