The Kingdom, Brazil sign MOU to establish a coordination council between the two countries

Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met today, Tuesday, in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, with Mauro Vieira, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil, on the sidelines of the G20 Summit.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to develop them, and discussed regional and international developments and the efforts made in this regard.

During the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed to establish the Saudi-Brazilian Coordination Council, in continuation of what was agreed upon between the leaderships of the two countries during the visit of His Excellency President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, to the Kingdom on November 30, 2023.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Faisal bin Ibrahim Ghulam, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Federative Republic of Brazil, and Abdulrahman Al-Daoud, Director General of the Minister’s Office.
