Krzysztof Jawkowski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs of Poland, announced his support for launching joint digital projects between the Kingdom and Poland to serve the interests of both countries.
This came during his meeting in the capital Warsaw today, Tuesday, with Hassan bin Moajab Al-Huwaizi, Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, and the accompanying delegation of Saudi businessmen, as part of a visit aimed at exploring opportunities for trade and investment partnership.
Krzysztof Jawkowski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs of Poland, stressed that his country is interested in developing cooperation with the Kingdom in the field of digital and cybersecurity in light of the clear development witnessed by this sector in both countries.
In addition, Hassan Al-Huwaizi, Chairman of the Federation of Chambers, called for enhancing joint investments in the sectors of technology, digital transformation and technology, given their importance in developing the economy and growing businesses.
For his part, Abdullah Abu Dabil, Chairman of the Saudi-Polish Business Council, said that the Kingdom’s plans to launch an artificial intelligence project worth $100 billion and Poland’s third-ranking in the world in the quality and number of programmers opens up great prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
It is worth noting that the meeting reviewed investment opportunities in digital technology and digitization available in the two countries, and ways to encourage Saudi investors to benefit from opportunities in the technology and digitization sectors in Poland, in addition to working on projects for cooperation in developing digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, innovation, technology, education and digital training.
