Amazon launches new platform to compete with Chinese shopping apps

Amazon has launched a new platform within its app called “Amazon Haul”, which includes various products that do not exceed $20 in price, from fashion accessories to household goods, clothing, and even electronics.

This step comes within the framework of Amazon’s efforts to compete with Chinese shopping apps such as “Shein”, “Temu” and “TikTok Shop”, which have attracted a wide segment of shoppers looking for products at low prices, which has contributed to the great success of these apps in global markets, including the US market.

Amazon said that most of the products offered on the “Amazon Haul” platform come at a price of less than $10, and some are available for less than one dollar.
