Lenovo’s quarterly revenue beats expectations, jumps 24% to $17.85 billion

Lenovo Group said its quarterly revenue jumped 24% year-on-year, supported by signs of a recovery in the global PC industry.

The Chinese technology company said its quarterly revenue reached $17.85 billion in the quarter ended Sept. 30, beating analysts’ expectations of $15.997 billion, according to data from the London Stock Exchange Group.

Net profit was $359 million, compared with analysts’ estimates of $331.69 million.
