Japan’s Nikkei index posts biggest daily drop in a month
Japan’s Nikkei average closed more than 2% lower on Tuesday, tracking a weaker close on Wall Street overnight, with a stronger yen weighing.
The Nikkei fell 2.63% to 38,053.67 in its biggest daily drop since Sept. 30, but was up 0.37% on the week.
The broader Topix index fell 1.9% to 2,644.26 on the day, but was up 0.99% on the week.
