Saudi GDP grew 2.8% during Q3

The General Authority for Statistics revealed that the Kingdom’s real GDP achieved a growth of 2.8% during the third quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of 2023. This growth is due to the increase achieved by non-oil activities, which achieved a growth of 4.2%.

Rapid estimates revealed that oil activities achieved a growth of 0.3% during the third quarter of 2024 compared to the same period of the previous year, and non-oil activities achieved a positive growth of 4.2% compared to the same period of the previous year, and government activities achieved a positive growth of 3.1% compared to the same period of the previous year.

The results of the report showed that the seasonally adjusted real GDP during the third quarter of 2024 achieved an increase of 0.8% compared to the second quarter of 2024.
