Non-oil exports (including re-exports) recorded an increase of 7.5% in August compared to the same month in 2023, while national non-oil exports “excluding re-exports” increased by 3%.
According to the International Trade Report for August, the value of re-exported goods increased by 18.9% during the same period, while commodity exports decreased in August by 9.8% compared to the same month last year.
As for imports, they decreased in August by 3.9%, while when looking at the commodity trade balance, the surplus decreased by 21% compared to August 2023.
