Saudi Fisheries Co. (SFICO) reported a 16.5% reduction in net losses for the third quarter, with losses totaling SAR 28.6 million, down from SAR 34.3 million in the same quarter of last year. This was disclosed in the preliminary financial results for the period ending September 30, 2024 (nine months).
Operating losses for the third quarter also decreased by 25.9%, reaching SAR 24.2 million, compared to SAR 32.7 million in the same quarter the previous year.
Total equity, after excluding non-controlling interests, stood at SAR 67.8 million for the nine-month period, reflecting a significant drop of 64% compared to SAR 188.6 million in the same period last year.
Losses per share for the current period amounted to SAR 1.21, compared to SAR 1.18 in the same period last year.
