Saudi Arabia Concludes Participation in Startup20 Summit

Saudi Arabia successfully concluded its participation in the Startup20 Summit held in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo, through a delegation led by the founder of Entrepreneurship Vision and the head of the Saudi Startup Group within the Group of Twenty (G20) Prince Fahad bin Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz.
The summit shed light on Saudi Arabia’s entrepreneurial experience, acting as a platform to showcase the supportive startup ecosystem and attract investments.
The Saudi program during the summit included the signing of three strategic cooperation agreements and the organization of dialogues with entrepreneurs and investors. A Saudi exhibition held alongside the summit featured 30 participating entities from various sectors, facilitating enhanced cooperation and trade between Saudi Arabia and Brazil.
In his speech at the exhibition’s opening, Prince Fahad bin Mansour emphasized the crucial role of innovation in realizing the goals of Vision 2030. He expressed gratitude to NEOM, which backed Saudi participation at the summit, for its unwavering support.
Visitors to the exhibition had the opportunity to explore leading Saudi startups, with over 1,000 individuals visiting the Saudi pavilion, reflecting considerable interest in the Kingdom’s entrepreneurial endeavors. Additionally, several Saudi startups were connected with potential investors, leading to tangible outcomes.
Saudi Arabia’s involvement in the summit underscores its dedication to foster the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and building a sustainable economy, while showcasing its prominent position in shaping the future of entrepreneurship globally.
