Ataa announces opening of nominations for BOD membership

Ataa Educational Company announced on Thursday the opening of nominations for its Board of Directors’ membership for the upcoming term, which starts on December 23, 2024, and ends on December 22, 2027, for a period of three years.

The nomination process will follow the provisions of the Companies Law and its Implemented Regulations issued by the Ministry of Commerce, as well as the Corporate Governance Regulations by the Capital Market Authority, in addition to the Company’s Bylaws and the Policies and Standards for Membership in the Board of Directors.

Members will be elected at the next General Assembly Meeting, with the date to be announced later. Nominations are open from October 3, 2024, until November 3, 2024.

The current Board of Directors and its committees will continue to serve until November 7, 2024. As per Paragraph (1) of Article (69) of the Companies Law, the Board and its committees will continue their duties for 90 days after this date, until the election of the new board.

Candidates must meet the necessary legal and regulatory requirements and submit:

• A signed letter to the Nomination and Remuneration Committee stating their intention to be nominated, accompanied by their CV, qualifications, and relevant experience.
• Form No. (1) of the CV in both Arabic and English.
• A completed copy of Form No. (3) issued by the Capital Market Authority, available for download from the CMA website.

Incomplete applications will not be considered. Voting at the General Assembly will be limited to those who have submitted complete and compliant nominations according to the Company’s policies and standards for Board membership.
