Oil prices rose on Thursday, after falling in the previous session, as signs of rising fuel demand and falling US stockpiles offset concerns about demand elsewhere, particularly China.
Brent crude futures rose 9 cents, or 0.12%, to $73.55 a barrel.
West Texas Intermediate crude, the US intermediate, rose 4 cents, or 0.06%, to $69.73 a barrel.
