stc Announces Appointment of Two Audit Committee Members

Saudi Telecom Company (stc) announced on Tuesday (that based on the decision of its Board of Directors to authorize the Chairman of the Audit Committee (Walid bin Ibrahim Shukri) to appoint External Committee Members, in coordination with the Chairman of the Board of Directors. The Chairman of the Audit Committee decided August 26, 2028 to appoint Eng. Yaser bin Asaad Allaf and Eng. Yaser bin Asaad as External Committee Members, until the end of the current term of the committee on July 24, 2028.

 Eng. Yaser bin Asaad Allaf holds an Executive Master’s degree in Business Administration. He has extensive experience of more than 23 years in the internal audit, information governance and security. He has worked in several sectors, such as oil and gas, energy, banking, and telecommunications. During this time, he held several leadership positions, such as Head of Internal Audits in several listed companies and banks, General Manager of Investments and Operations Audit at STC, and Vice President of Information Technology and Communications Audit at Etihad Etisalat Company (Mobily). He also held memberships and chaired several audit committees in multiple public and private joint stock companies and charitable institutions.

 Eng. Yaser bin Asaad Allaf holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He has extensive experience in risk management, governance, internal audit, and compliance. He has held several leadership positions, such as Chief Governance, Risk, and Control Sector, Executive Vice President of Treasury and Market Risk Management, and Head of Risk Management in several leading institutions of financial services industry. He is also a member of Board of Directors and Audit, Risk and Credit Committees of multiple public and private joint stock companies and Government entities.
