US stock market indices close higher
US stock market indices closed higher today. The Dow Jones rose 0.15 percent, or 55 points, to 40,890 points.
The Standard & Poor’s 500 rose 0.4 percent, or 23 points, to 5,620 points.
The Nasdaq rose 0.55 percent, or 102 points, to 17,918 points.
