The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Thursday that BMW will recall 105,558 crossovers and sedans in the country to address concerns about the starter motor that can overheat.
The recall includes several models, including some X5 and X7 vehicles and some 3 Series and 7 Series models.
The agency added that “if the starter motor fails, repeated attempts to start the vehicle can cause the starter motor to overheat due to electrical overload,” according to Reuters.
