Japanese stocks close mixed
The Japanese stock market closed mixed today, as caution over a stronger yen outweighed gains in chip stocks.
The Nikkei index fell by 0.01%, reaching 39,594.39 points, while the broader Topix index rose by 0.21%, to end its trading at 2,833.39 points.
