Oil prices fell in Asian trading on Tuesday, after recording gains in the previous session, as markets were overwhelmed by a state of caution about the prospects for global demand growth amid expectations of increased supplies.
Brent crude futures fell 13 cents, or 0.15%, to $84.12 per barrel by 0316 GMT.
US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 14 cents, or 0.17%, to $80.19 per barrel.
