Mbappe’s transfer deal to Real Madrid: € 15 million annual salary

The Sky Sports website revealed the details of the transfer of Frenchman Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid, indicating that he will receive a 100 million euros registration bonus paid to him over 5 years, which represents the duration of his contract, in addition to a 15 million euros annual salary.

Mbappe had refused to activate a one-year extension in his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, which allowed him to move for free to the Royal Club, after six years he spent with the French League champion.

Mbappe’s departure, announced last month, has saved Paris Saint-Germain at least €220 million in total costs.

According to information, the 25-year-old received 84 million euros annually during the season with the French team, with an annual registration bonus of 30 million euros.

In August 2021, Paris Saint-Germain refused to reject Real Madrid’s offer to sign Mbappe, worth 170 million euros, plus 10 million in variables.

When Mbappe’s transfer to Paris was completed, he became the second most expensive player in the world after his former Paris teammate Saint Neymar, who moved to the French team for 222 million euros from Barcelona in the same year.
