The Red Sea International Airport (RSI) has marked the commencement of its inaugural international flights originating from Dubai. Red Sea International, known for its ambitious sustainable tourism projects such as the Red Sea and Amaala destinations, has announced the arrival of the first international flight to its airport (RSI).
Operated by Emirates airline Flydubai, the flight will arrive from Dubai International Airport on Thursday, April 18, marking the commencement of a new international route. With two flights scheduled per week – on Thursdays and Sundays – this new route aligns with the existing domestic flight schedule from Riyadh and Jeddah, regularly serviced by Saudi Airlines since September 2023.
With the addition of Flydubai flights, the Red Sea International Airport will now facilitate eight regular flights per week, further enhancing connectivity for residents of the Red Sea regions along the western coast of Saudi Arabia. This development signifies a crucial step forward, connecting these regions to global destinations via Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
