Saudi Digital Government Authority Launches Digital Transformation Index 2024

The Digital Government Authority (DGA)  launched the Digital Transformation Index 2024 (DTI) with a virtual workshop attended by over 2,000 specialists representing 233 government entities. The workshop included discussions on the measurement methodology, important updates to the Digital Transformation Core Criteria document, success stories from DTI 2023, and the roadmap for the current cycle.

DTI 2024 continues to build upon the successes of previous cycles. The Digital Transformation Core Criteria document has been updated and now consists of 96 criteria, a decrease from the previous 125 criteria found in the 2023 version. In the year 2023, a total of 226 government entities took part in the DTI, and they collectively achieved an impressive progress rate of 85.53%. Furthermore, 88 government entities successfully advanced to the innovation and integration stages.
