EU considers imposing duties on grains from Russia and Belarus – Sources

European Union sources said on Tuesday that the European Commission will propose imposing customs duties on grain imports from Russia and Belarus.

According to Reuters, customs duties will be applied to grains intended for use in the European Union, which includes 27 members, but the sources explained that they will not be applied to grains that cross the bloc to other countries so as not to undermine food security in other places.
