“Yamamah Cement” BOD recommends distributing 202.5 million riyals in cash dividends for 2023

Board of Directors of Yamama Cement Company recommended to the General Assembly in its meeting held on February 12, 2024, the distribution of cash dividends for the fiscal year 2023, with a total amount distributed of 202.5 million riyals, with the share of the distribution being 1.00 riyals, and a distribution ratio to the nominal value of the share of 10%.

The company said that the number of shares eligible for dividends is 202,500 thousand shares, indicating that the date of dividend payment will be determined after the company’s General Assembly approves this recommendation.

Dividends will also be paid to the company’s shareholders registered with the Edaa Center at the end of the second trading day from the day of the company’s general assembly.

The date of the company’s general assembly meeting will be determined after obtaining regulatory approvals from the relevant government agencies.

It continued: “For non-resident investors, cash distributions that are transferred through the resident financial intermediary or when credited to his account are subject to a 5% withholding tax in accordance with the provisions of Article (68) of the tax system and Article (63) of its executive regulations.”
