Al-Othaim Life, Jordanian brand “DNA” announce a strategic ‎partnership to open 12 stores in Saudi Arabia

Al-Othaim Life Company, one of the companies of Al-Othaim Investment Group, announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement to be an exclusive agent for the Jordanian brand “DNA” in the Kingdom, in order to enhance its leadership and strong presence in the retail market.

This agreement comes in support of the continuation of “Al-Othaim Life” strategy to expand its portfolio of international brands, which consist of (17) brands, including the most famous French, Italian, Portuguese, Latvian, Moroccan and Turkish brands, in addition to its acquisition last month of the franchise rights for 18 of the brands, and the related assets of the innovative outfit trading company, which is a subsidiary of Cenomi Retail.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Dr. Haitham Abu Al-Foul, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Riyadh, Mr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Othaim, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Mishal bin Amira, CEO of Al-Othaim Investment Company, and Messrs. Laith Hamo and Yazan Al-Haj Hassan, the founding partners of “DNA”. ‏

Mr. Ali Al-Sharif, CEO of Al-Othaim Life Company, stated that this partnership comes as a continuation of the company’s strategy to attract the most important local and international brands known for their successes to enrich the shoppers’ experience and within the options of the patrons of its commercial stores in the Kingdom.

Al-Sharif pointed out that the agreement will enable DNA to open (12) stores in Saudi Arabia during the next five years in Al-Othaim malls, starting from the current year 2024 which contributes to enriching shoppers’ experience in malls through the availability of the products of these high-quality brands

 

The Jordanian brand “DNA” will transfer its successful experience as a main platform for launching new and innovative products, which has become a major destination for smart devices and the latest developments in technology, audio, photography equipment, video games, music, books, stationery and household supplies under one roof. ‏

The new strategic partnership agreement is considered a qualitative addition that enhances the progress of Al-Othaim Malls and establishes its presence as a prominent player and leader in the retail markets in the Kingdom, whose strategy is based on qualitative and thoughtful expansion to attract the most important international names and brands that the pioneers of Al-Othaim Malls are searching for and that address their taste and respond to their aspirations. ,

It is noteworthy that Al-Othaim Life Company is one of the largest Saudi companies operating in the retail sector, and is interested in attracting the most famous and finest international brands that meet all the needs of the family and falls under the umbrella of the Al-Othaim Investment Group of Companies, which was chosen among the list of the 50 best real estate developers in the Gulf. For the year 2023, it owns (12) commercial complexes, in addition to a portfolio of investment projects under implementation, which includes 23 projects distributed across the regions and cities of the Kingdom with investments exceeding 12 billion riyals, and a number of companies operating in the fields of (complexes) fall under it.
