KSRNR: 20,000 km² of Wildlife in Al-Khunfah Area

Al-Khunfah protected area, north of Tayma governorate in Tabuk Region, forms one of the main parts of the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve (KSRNR), which covers 20,000 km².

Al-Khunfah is a natural habitat for many species of flora and fauna, including houbara bustards, rabbits and reptiles, and lavender trees.

It is also famous for its various valleys that receive up to 100 millimeters of seasonal rain.
