BIM Ventures, the Saudi Venture Studio announced the inauguration of “SKYNA” the Saudi Private Aviation Platform.

The Riyadh-based platform specializes in offering its clients a wide range of premium private aircraft options. The platform ensures a secure, reliable, and user-friendly chartering process to provide an unmatched luxury travel experience.

The establishment of “SKYNA” aligns with the “National Strategy of the Aviation Sector,” initiated last June by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). Specifically, this strategy aims to enhance the local, regional, and international air transportation industry and increase its contribution to the Kingdom’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

SKYNA aims to provide a superior experience to its clients by offering a platform for chartering, scheduling customized trips as per their convenience, allowing them to select their preferred private aircraft type, and choosing the comfort and hospitality services that they wish to avail during the flight. These services are flexible and cater to the diverse travel goals of private trips, official missions, and business travel with the option to book dates at their convenience for business meetings, special events, and other travel purposes.

On this occasion, BIM Ventures’ Managing Partner and CEO, Mr. Mohamed Amine Merah stated “The private aviation sector is set to undergo significant development in line with the Kingdom’s vision to host global events such as the Riyadh Expo 2030 and global sporting events, which will boost growth in the tourism and aviation industries. Our entry into this crucial sector marks the first step towards building more ventures within the aviation industry, which presents promising investment opportunities. We are eager to collaborate with our partners and investors to succeed and drive growth in the local economy.”

The private aviation industry is experiencing significant growth in its operations due to the increased demand for its services from business executives, officials, and others. Due to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strategic location, it’s set to inevitably become a central hub for international aviation and a crucial connection between the three continents.

In recent years, the travel and tourism sector in Saudi Arabia has been on the rise. The country has opened its skies to local and international airlines, simplified travel, and visa procedures, developed tourist sites, and provided excellent hospitality services. In addition, the upcoming Expo 2030 is expected to attract tens of millions of visitors worldwide, thus increasing the demand for travel and accommodation services in the Kingdom. These efforts aim to promote the continuous growth of the tourism sector and contribute to the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision of developing a sustainable economy and diversifying sources of income.
