Danish shipping company Maersk announced today, Sunday, the suspension of the passage of its ships in the Red Sea for 48 hours, after one of them was attacked while heading from Singapore to the Suez Canal.
The company said that the ship was attacked near the port of Hodeidah, but it was not damaged and continued on its way, noting that the ship is able to maneuver and continues sailing north.
Today, the US Army announced the killing and sinking of the crews of 3 boats in response to the second distress call in less than 24 hours from a container ship in the Red Sea.
