Social Development Bank Obtains CIPS Accreditation

The Social Development Bank (SDB) has obtained an international accreditation certificate from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).

This achievement reflects SDB’s effective developmental role and commitment to following the best international practices.

The evaluation process, which was carried out by an external auditor to ensure transparency, was based on five main aspects: leadership and organization, strategy, human element, operations and systems, and performance measurement and management.

CIPS is the world’s largest professional body serving procurement and supply. It has the largest membership of procurement and supply professionals in the world, covering all industries, sectors and job activities and has a global community of over 115,000 in 150 countries. CIPS qualifications are recognized as the drivers of leading-edge thinking and professionalism in procurement and supply.
