Chemanol completes preliminary engineering designs for methanol plant expansion project

Methanol Chemicals Company announced on Thursday the Latest Developments on obtaining the approval of the Ministry of Energy for allocating the required feedstock to expand the Methanol Plant project with the company that owns the technology.

The Company explained in a statement on Tadawul that offering competitive tender companies among the specialised contracting companies for the construction of the project has been announced, and the company is still in the stage of selecting the qualified contractor to implement the project.

The Company indicated that the reasons for the delay were to late submission of the required information for the completion of the engineering designs by some manufacturers, in addition to the involvement and commitment of most of qualified contractors in other projects in the petrochemical sector.
