Minister of Investment: Historical Relations Link Saudi Arabia ‎with African Countries in Various Economic and Investment ‎Sectors

Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the Saudi-African Summit, titled ‘Fruitful Partnership’, stresses the pioneering position that the Kingdom enjoys at the regional, continental and global levels, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Eng. Al-Falih expressed his pride in receiving this number of the leaders of the African countries participating in the summit hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also expressed his aspiration for the positive outcomes of the summit, indicating that the relations linking the Kingdom with the African countries are strong historical relations based on brotherhood, neighbourhood, and shared interests, in addition to the human, religious, and social prospects, as well as the economic and cultural aspects.

Eng. Al-Falih added that the Kingdom’s hosting of this summit confirms its constant keenness to consolidate the principle of the collective action, to build a bright future for the region and the world, through cooperation, consultation, and integration between the countries to achieve the comprehensive development.

He concluded his statement by stressing that the ambitions are great, and hopes are based on more joint work to achieve aspirations and overcome challenges in order to increase cooperation and develop mutual investments between the Kingdom and African countries.
