Al Munif Extraordinary GA appoints Rashid bin Awain as BOD member

Al Munif Trading, Industry, Agriculture and Contracting Company announced on Sunday the results of the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting (first meeting) after the legal quorum was reached for the assembly to be held.

And announced the results as follows:

1. Approval of the BOD resolution to appoint Dr. Rashid Rashid Saad bin Awain – a BOD member (independent) starting from the date of his appointment on September 27, 2023, to complete the BOD session until the end date of the current session on December 12, 2024, successor to the previous member, Mr. Munif Hamad Murshid Al Munif Al Hajri – independent.

2. Approval to amend Article (3) of the company’s Articles of Association related to the company’s purposes.

3. Approval to add Article (12) to the company’s Articles of Association related to (debt instruments and financing instruments)

4. Approval to amend Article (17) of the company’s Articles of Association related to the company’s management.

5. Approval of amending Article (20) of the company’s Articles of Association related to the powers of the Board of Directors.

6. Approval to amend the company’s Articles of Association to comply with the new corporate system.
