Saudi National Housing Company Looks into Business Opportunities with China

National Housing Company (NHC) CEO Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Bati, who was in Beijing, China, for the Belt and Road Exhibition that was held between October 15 and 17, 2023, signed an agreement with the Chinese CITIC Construction Company aiming at getting investments and expanding production lines to serve the Saudi market.

The CITIC company, affiliated with the Chinese CITIC Group, one of the largest 250 international construction companies considered a leading global contractor that provides comprehensive construction and engineering services, would contribute with a package of solutions that will achieve higher scalability and sustainability in the real estate sector.

The exhibition was held under the patronage of Chinese President Xi Jinping, and drew more than 1,200 participants from over 80 countries. It brought together senior government officials and businessmen from all over the world to discuss commercial and practical cooperation, and empowering the global business communities by creating a belt to strengthen political, infrastructure, trade, financial ties and communication among countries, with a view to giving new momentum to the global economy.
