Tabuk Geologically Accounts for 6% of Kingdom’s Area with Unique Land and Marine Formations

The Tabuk region is situated in the northwestern part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bordered by the Hasma mountains in the west and Sharura in the east. It encompasses a geological formation that covers 6% of the Kingdom’s total area. The region’s landscape is diverse, comprising desert, mountains, and coastlines, which have attracted nature enthusiasts and tourists seeking unique geological paths.

In celebration of International Geodiversity Day, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) is honoring this aesthetic value by showcasing a variety of images captured by its photographers, highlighting the geological diversity found in the Tabuk region.
