Saudi Mining Polytechnic Obtains International Accreditation

Saudi Mining Polytechnic (SMP), in Arar, obtained international accreditation from City and Guilds Foundation in the United Kingdom, which appointed the SMP as a globally certified center that provides professional development training programs in line with the institute’s strategy, which aims at making it a world leader in its field of expertise.

SMP Director-General Abdullah bin Amer Al-Otaibi said that this achievement represents a milestone in SMP’s journey toward achieving a leadership position globally and a culmination of the institute’s pioneering efforts to improve the Saudi competencies and make them become globally noted figures in the mining sector.

He added that the institute provides high-quality training that meets the highest international standards by using the best training equipment in the world.
