Nasdaq, S&P open lower due to Tesla, Netflix shares’ decline

Nasdaq and Standard & Poor’s 500 indices fell in early trading on Wall Street today, Thursday, affected by Tesla’s decline due to fears of price cuts, while Netflix shares fell after their quarterly revenues were lower than analysts’ estimates.

However, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 30.77 points, or 0.09%, to 35,091.98 points, according to Reuters.

The Standard & Poor’s 500 fell by 11.34 points, or 0.25%, to 4,554.38 points, while the Nasdaq Composite fell 84.72 points, or 0.59%, to 14,273.29 points.
